Discovery Play wanted to take advantage of their already existing audience by cross-promoting other content on their platform within the content viewers were watching.

Banners, video-in-video pop-ups and a main menu

To find out what works best and is most effective, we tested some options.

First, bannering. Viewers were shown a banner at the bottom of the screen and in the top right corner.

The second option was a video-in-video pop-up with trailers from other shows.

In the third version a main menu was added where 5 programs were highlighted including the possibility to play trailers.
